The fundamental distinction lies in structure and scope: 

The Futurekids Coding and Robotics CAPS Curriculum is mandatory and vertically aligned with South Africa's National Educational Policy, focusing on the three core strands of Digital Concepts, Coding, and Robotics to ensure foundational literacy and digital citizenship within the formal school day, with Unplugged Activity Kits to do in a completely offline environment. 


In contrast, the extracurricular Club Curriculum offers a broader, enrichment-focused model, incorporating five strands (which include  Pattern Recognition; Algorithms and Coding; Robotics; Internet and E-Communication; and Application Skills) and is explicitly supported by Robotics Kits. 


This club structure provides a deep, hands-on, and project-based learning experience, promoting advanced skill development and creative application beyond the assessed requirements of the national curriculum.
